Home School LEGO Chess Club – Build, Think, Play

A unique 3‑week program where home‑schooled kids design, build, and play their very own LEGO chess or checkers sets. Across each 1.5‑hour session, builders will create every piece from scratch using our huge collection of bricks, learning strategy, creativity, and problem‑solving along the way. It’s hands‑on, screen‑free learning with a playful twist.

What to Expect

• Build Your Own Chess Set – Kids construct all pieces and a full board using LEGO, learning structure, symmetry, and design.

• Checkers Option – Perfect for younger builders or those new to strategy games.

• Guided Strategy Moments – Our facilitators introduce simple chess and checkers concepts to help kids learn through play.

• Play and Practice – Once pieces are built, kids test their creations in friendly games with peers.

• Take‑Home Option – Completed boards and pieces can be purchased at the end of the program (priced by weight).

• Runs for 3 consecutive weeks (Tuesday 3rd March - 17th March 2026)

• 1.5‑hour sessions each Tuesday, 2:30–4:00 pm

• Held at Brick Evolution, Cheltenham VIC

• Suitable for primary‑aged home‑schooled children
