About this Event
In this performance, FRAU DIAMANDA presents her multidisciplinary book project "Catalan Scenes" – a radical, poetic “sexual anti-diary” from the perspective of a travestite migrant from Peru in Europe. Combining spoken word and performance, the piece creates a dense, immersive atmosphere where travestism is not the object of analysis but the analytical subject itself. Travestism becomes a practice of resistance interwoven with questions of racialization, migration, class, self-staging, and neocolonial gazes.
