Dive into an expressive mixed media workshop with artist Sue Woodger and create your own beautiful 8 inch framed artwork inspired by the gentle movement of a shoal of fish. Sue will provide a collection of carefully cut paper fish for you to bring to life with watercolours and inks. You will explore colour blending, loose washes and subtle mark making as you paint both your fish and your background, building depth and atmosphere.
Once your individual fish are complete, you will arrange them into a flowing shoal. You might choose a soft circular formation, a sweeping wave or a more organic scatter that feels full of movement. Sue will guide you in composition so your finished piece feels balanced and harmonious.
