🌙 FOURTH FRIDAYTeen Maker Night
Date: 4th Friday of Every Month
Time: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Ages: Teens ages 13-17
Teen Maker Night is a creative evening designed specifically for teens to explore, build, and create in a supervised, welcoming environment. Teens can work independently or with friends and choose how they want to spend their time.
This is not a single class or required project. It is an open, skill-based maker night where teens have access to real tools, creative studios, and space to try new things.
Projects and spaces teens may choose from include:
• Clothing mash-ups by remixing existing clothes with custom patches, stitching, or design changes
• Audio and music recording using our recording and mixing studio
• Technology studio access with options such as coding, game design, and 3D printing
• Cooking or baking in the kitchen, including simple dinner or snack options
• Painting, drawing, or working on visual art projects
• Tinkering and crafting in the makerspace using a variety of materials and tools
• Time to collaborate with peers or simply hang out in a creative setting
Teens are supported by staff, but encouraged to make choices, follow interests, and work at their own pace. Some teens will dive into projects. Others may explore multiple areas. Both are welcome here.
What parents should know:
• Supervised and structured environment
• Skill-based and creative, not just social
• Designed to support confidence, independence, and creativity
• Food options available during the evening
