Class length: 3 hours
Class size: 12 students maximum
Prerequisite: F5 or equivalent experience required.

The name of the game in Foundation 6 is getting performance ready! The course culminates in a live performance, where your ensemble will showcase a format you’ve researched, shaped, and brought to life together.
In F6, improvisers will focus on:
- Building strong stage presence and learning how to engage an audience with confidence.
- Developing physicality and vocal variety to create dynamic characters and environments and build compelling scenes.
- Strengthening ensemble awareness and supporting one another in performance.
- Exploring how performing for an audience can transform energy, heighten commitment, and deepen the joy of improvisation.
At the end of Foundation 6, the coach will make a recommendation for each student about their next step — repeating Foundation 6 or moving to Performance Labs to continue the improviser's performance journey.
We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. BATS Improv Class Refund Policy
All class sales are final. In the event we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
