About this Event
A guided slow sensory walk to immerse yourself in the wooded world of Cannizaro Park. Susanne Meis is an experienced Forest Bathing Guide and Nature Wellbeing Educator. Join her to calm your mind, energise your body and connect deeply with nature.
Susanne is the Founder of Meet in Nature and has guided Forest Bathing events across the UK, including for The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, the Forest Bathing Institute, The National Trust, and The RSPB.
Meeting Location: Millenium Fountain by the main park entrance for a prompt 10.30 start.
Other important Information:
What to wear: Participants nearly always underestimate how cold they can feel when moving slowly in the shade. Layers are advised. Warm socks and comfortable shoes are recommended. Warm/waterproof jacket (depending on weather).
Other helpful information:
- There is no need to bring a mat or ground sheet. These will be provided by instructor.
- Small water bottle or flask with hot drink (depending on weather).
- Fruit or snack (optional)
Polite notice:
- The park's loos are approximately 5-10 minute walk from the fountain meeting point. Please arrive in ample time ahead of the class' 10.30 AM start.
Terms and Conditions:
Refunds will only be offered due to cancellation by the organisers. The weather on the day will not be considered a valid reason for cancellation unless considered to be a safety risk. Guests who are unable to attend or who choose not to attend the event are not eligible for a refund if the event goes ahead.
