Join the Chicagoland RCA for a food photography workshop and networking event. The event takes place at Creative Food Solutions (1140 W. Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607) on Tuesday, June 6th from 5:30 to 7:30. Attendees will participate in a hands-on seminar led by Grant Kessler, a professional food photographer that has shot for a number of food companies and restaurants. (http://www.grantkessler.com/) He will instruct an intimate class about the principles of food photography in which attendees will learn the basics, and then be able to practice taking food photos with their own phones. Topics include:
• Framing and camera angles
• Use of space in a picture
• Controlling lighting
• Props, backgrounds
• Food styling

Bring your phone…we’ll provide food to shoot, as well as light appetizers and beverages.
