Please note that this is not a "Free" event. Please contact the park / rec for the class cost.This 8 hour action packed course is open to youth age 10-15.
Students will learn the fundamentals of childcare (feeding/diapering/etc..), child safety (choking emergencies/home hazards/etc...), and also learn CPR/AED!
This is a great class to build confidence as they enter the exciting world of babysitting, or if they are starting to stay home alone for the first time.
The class is taught by using an assortment of relevant videos, hands on skill learning sessions, and games.
Enrolled students will receive: A digital course book prior to the start of class, a completion certificate for the babysitting portion of the class, an 80 page student CPR/AED guidebook and a CPR/AED participation certificate.
Students will need to bring a lunch/beverage the day of the class.
