Optimizing the Health of the CareGiver to Optimize CareGiving

Caring for a loved one with dementia is a stressful and tedious task. To care for a person, the caregiver needs to be in optimal health. During this presentation, we will review some of the basic health components that every caregiver must optimize to have the energy and stamina to care for their loved one. We will discuss some of the basic nutrient needs, dietary considerations etc., along with what laboratory testing must be done to optimize the caregiver's health.
