Early doors at 5pm. Music starts with Ancient Hostility at 5.30pm sharp as Simon has places to be later in the evening, so make sure to get down on time!
After all the acts are finished we will open up into a folk session from around 9pm (depending on what time bands finish up) with all welcome to join in, so bring yer favorite folk songs, tunes, unaccompanied ballads etc.! All traditions welcome.
AVERAGE JOEY: U.S. based Average Joey is over on a European tour. A traveling songwriter and musician performing a mixture of storytelling folk songs and country tunes. Joey offers a variety ranging from poetic lyrics, wry humor, and political critiques that speak truth to power.
BEGGAR'S BUTTONS: Based outta Wales Beggar's Buttons are a three-piece anarchist folk band with their roots in ecological resistance. Coming over to play ya some trad. and originals, a luscious mixture of tunes and songs on strings, woodwind, handcrafted instruments and 3-part vocal harmony.
DICK FITZROYLE: From all the way over in the Wirral, this Poet and One Man Mummers Play will blast ya with some powerful words from an equally powerful voice.
ANCIENT HOSTILITY: Harmony singing and drones from members of All In Vain and Dawn Ray'd. Singing original songs of resistance and heartbreak.
