Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with music introduced by the performers. There is a pop-up café from 10.15am where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
April-May’s music is a collection of pieces based on folk tunes and idioms: English (Butterworth: The Banks of Green Willow) and Irish (Joan Trimble Phantasy Trio) feature, but alongside these are a few surprises!
Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential. Cafe Concerts are pay-what-you-feel via a retiring collection to keep live music affordable for everyone. More information at www.trioparadis.com.
