Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: a 45-minute concert of mostly classical music presented by the performers, often with the addition of a poem or two read by Jackie Tong. Refreshments are available in the abbey café before and after the concert.April-May’s music is a collection of pieces based on folk tunes and idioms: English (Butterworth: The Banks of Green Willow) and Irish (Joan Trimble Phantasy Trio) feature, but alongside these are a few surprises!
Concerts last c45m and entrance is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential.
