Flower Arrangement 101: A Southern Spring Floral Workshop

Join Hemlock & Hearth for an intimate, small-group floral workshop inside the candlelit atmosphere of Elaine’s Literary Saloon. This beginner-friendly class is designed to slow you down and invite you into the art of creating something beautiful with your hands.

You’ll learn the basics of floral arrangement, including how to select stems, build balance and shape, and create a design that feels natural, textured, and full of movement.

Each guest will create and take home their own mini floral arrangement, along with a votive candle from Hemlock & Hearth to continue the ritual at home.

This workshop is part of Scent & Stories, a sensory-driven evening blending literature, fragrance, and community. After the workshop, guests are invited to stay and enjoy the full event — including author readings, scent exploration, and connection in an intimate, Southern Gothic-inspired setting.
