Title: "Sins of Speech and How to Address Them"Talk: The tongue is a fire, or so says the Apostle James. How then are we meant to treat it? Should we extinguish the blaze or is there hope that it can flame forth for the glory of God? Join Fr. Gregory Pine for an evening in which we explore God's plans for our faculty of speech.
Speaker Bio:
Fr. Gregory Pine, O.P. is a Dominican Friar of the Province of St. Joseph. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Dogmatic and Moral Theology at the Dominican House of Studies and the Assistant Director of the Thomistic Institute. He was ordained a priest in 2016 and holds a doctorate from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He is the author of several books including Your Eucharistic Identity: A Sacramental Guide to the Fullness of Life and Training the Tongue and Growing Beyond Sins of Speech. He is a regular contributor to several podcasts including Godsplaining and Catholic Classics.

All young adults (19-35) are invited to Theology on Tap in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub, 2nd floor, every first Monday of the month.
