About this Event
February is Invasive Species Awareness Month! Join us to learn about invasive flora and fauna in Florida! In this class, we'll define key terms like native, non-native, and invasive species. You'll discover how these invasive species affect local plant and animal communities and learn to recognize common invasive species in the county and state. We'll also discuss effective strategies to prevent their spread and protect Florida's natural ecosystems.
Pre-registration is required. Registration will be capped at 100 participants for Zoom facilitation and chat box management purposes.
Cancellation policy: Please email Jeanette Mercado, Administrative Specialist at [email protected] if you are unable to attend so your seat can be re-opened for another participant.
