Join the for a hybrid Coastal Systems course hosted by . This 40-hour course is designed for adult learners and blends in-person classes, live Zoom sessions, and immersive field experiences across Southwest Florida.

- Coastal Uplands β Coastal forests, dunes, and upland wildlife
- Wetlands β Storm protection, water filtration, and biodiversity
- Nearshore Waters β Estuaries, seagrass meadows, and coastal marine systems

- In-person classes: Saturdays, 9:00 am β 3:30 pm
- Online classes (Zoom): Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00 β 6:00 pm

- Five in-person guided field trips across Sarasota, Longboat Key, and Englewood

- March 28 (AM): Beach & dune systems β North Lido Beach Park
- March 28 (PM): Sea turtle & coastal conservation sites - Mote
- April 4: Upland environments β Cedar Point Environmental Park
- April 11: Nearshore environments β Seagrass dip-netting at Mote
Transportation and meals are not included.
