Creation Art Center presents “Florida,” a collective art exhibition featuring works by Asela Torres (photography), Andrés Pruna (painting), Claudio Castillo (generative art), Jesús Rivera (painting & ceramics), and Noel Rosado (stained glass), opening Friday, May 1 at 7:00 PM at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center.
“Florida,” curated by Grace Piney, brings together distinguished contemporary artists in a collective reflection on the state’s identity, memory, and sensory experience. This exhibition is presented in recognition of Florida’s historical commemoration, an occasion that invites us to revisit the processes that have shaped its identity over time. In this context, “Florida” is conceived as a space for aesthetic exploration, where light and color, defining elements of the Floridian landscape, play a central role in both artistic production and the artists’ perspectives.
“Florida” will remain open to the public through July 10 at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center, open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
