Join me at my East End Garden for a creative, hands-on DIY Floral Pumpkin Workshop! Bring your own pumpkin—any size or shape—and craft a stunning, seasonal centerpiece using my fresh, locally grown flowers and eucalyptus.

This fun-filled fall event is perfect for all ages! However, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. The preferred age for this activity is 9+, but feel free to email me with any questions about whether this event is right for your child.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT:

• The workshop will begin with a step-by-step guide on preparing your pumpkin for arranging flowers, followed by a brief tour of the garden and tips on how to design your floral pumpkin for the best results.
• Please note: No pumpkins will be available for purchase at this event—you must bring your own. Any size will work, but I recommend small to medium-sized pumpkins in any color.
• One pair of garden pruners and gloves will be provided to cut flowers, along with a vase and water to keep your arrangement fresh.
• How long will your floral pumpkin last? With proper care, expect it to last about a week, similar to a traditional floral arrangement.
• Mother Nature can make the garden a little soggy, uneven, or slippery, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Closed-toed boots or shoes are recommended, as well as long pants and sleeves to protect yourself from insects that may shelter in the plants.
• Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, the workshop will either be rescheduled or relocated. All participants will be notified of any changes to the date, time, or location as soon as possible. Fingers crossed for a beautiful weather day!Don’t forget to pack essentials like sunglasses, water bottles, hats, sunscreen, and bug spray to ensure your time in the garden is comfortable and enjoyable.
• There are no restrooms at the garden. The closest facilities are at a nearby restaurant or gas station, so please plan accordingly.
