About this Event
Join us for five consecutive sundays in April and May to muse over the life cycle of a flower through poetry, edible treats related to each themed week, and the practice Cha Dao - The Way of Tea.
Each week we will explore a new theme, starting with the seed, going to the root, stalk, flower, and ending with the garden/fruit. We will begin each session with a silent tea ceremony - a space of reverent beauty, presence and stillness. We will meander into poetry, shared musings and a homemade edible treat (GF).
Drinking tea (camellia sinensis) in this way creates a container of profound yet simple presence. It is a restful space, a place to just be and attune. We will gather in the name of beauty to sit in this still place together, to connect with ourselves and the plant world.
*Registration is required. Only 7 spots. Preference to those who will commit to the whole 5 weeks. No refunds available, but if you cannot make one week then you can give your spot to a friend. *
