Emmaline Zanelli is a South Australian artist working across photography, performance and video, exploring fabrication, memory, labour, and the relationship between bodies and machines. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she won The Churchie Emerging Art Prize in 2022. Emmaline recently presented new projects in Primavera 2025 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and is developing work for the Adelaide Biennial 2026. Since 2016, she has also been a co‑director of The Bait Fridge, an experimental South Australian artist collective.Zanelli's portrait, Aida Azin, was a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2025 and is currently on view at The Riddoch.
