Enter the Death Match Arena!Dirt crunches beneath your sandals. You take a knee to rub some of the grainy substance between your hands as you take in the panorama of the arena. Sixteen combats, all entering equidistant from each other, all with the same grizzled and leathery features, veterans. The sound of the crowd comes into focus. They cry out for blood. They’ll get it.
This community-run event is capped at sixteen players. It will be four rounds of Swiss with a cut to top four. The first two rounds will be classic constructed format; the second two rounds will be Silver Age format. The top four format will be revealed on the day, but you don’t need any prep for this – decks will be supplied!
However, when fighting in the Death Match Arena, anything can happen. The crowd will be throwing in weapons for the combatants to use, so don’t register any weapons in your deck lists, these will be supplied to you at the start of the Swiss rounds.
