Our 2024 festival is taking place in two ways.

We're excited to announce that our local festival aimed at providing a platform for amateur performers of all backgrounds, is again able to go ahead virtually.

Find attending an in person festival impossible?
W ant to develop your "to camera" performance skills?
Too far to travel?
Want a second chance for feedback on your pieces from a different adjudicator?
Can't take time off work to attend?
Too stressful to stand up in front of a room full of strangers?
Have other commitments on Festival Day?

Fear no more! Fleetwood Festival Online exists to allow those of you who prefer to prerecord your performance and send it to us for adjudication to do so.
The festival is still competitive and a great opportunity to gain feedback from our adjudicators in your chosen discipline.
T he winning performances of each class will be available to stream on the 16th November 2024.
How to Enter from April 2024

If you are not confident in the below process and have no tech savvy person to assist then please do contact our festival team at [email protected] we don't want anyone to miss out in taking part due to tech.

For all competitive classes available please click on the green tickets button to the right where our syllabus is displayed in ticket format.
Please select your classes by adding a ticket for each class you would like to enter. This will add the entry ticket for that class into your basket.
Once all the classes you'd like to enter are in your basket please go to checkout and pay your entry fee.
N.B. The fee is non-profit making and only funds the adjudicators and use of virtual tools. Given that our adjudicators do not have to travel and be accommodated our online fees are slightly cheaper than in person fees.
This festival is only open to amateur performers. You are not eligible to enter if you have been paid for performing on a regular basis at any point in the last 10 years or currently teach performing arts.
Things to note before you purchase your ticket
Please understand that once a class entry ticket has been purchased you will not be entitled to a refund should you decide to no longer take part in the festival.
By purchasing a ticket and sending us your performance video you are agreeing to us uploading that video to any winners premiere. This video will be live streamed and then removed after 48hrs.
We may also use short clips from your performance to promote our festival in the future. If you would not like us to do this you can opt out in the questions at checkout.
If you're under 16yrs of age permission must be granted by a parent or guardian at the checkout stage. By ticking the box you confirm you are either the parent or guardian or you are over 16yrs of age.

Competitors can only perform once in any solo class.
To comply with the current agreement made with the Authors Licensing and Collection Society, the TITLE, AUTHOR and PUBLISHER must be provided when requested at checkout stage.
In under 18 age classes the age stated in the syllabus is that of the competitor at the time of uploading your performance video.
An electronic copy of own choice music or script must be uploaded when you upload your performance video.
No Festival Accompanist is available for our online festival. If you require an accompanist you are welcome to use your own. However a CD backing track with NO OTHER VOCALS is acceptable to use. Alternatively you may sing unaccompanied.
For all modern instrumental classes a backing track with no vocals may be used to play alongside. For all traditional instruments you must play unaccompanied.
Costume is not allowed throughout all of the classes.
NB: ALL THE VIDEOS MUST BE SUBMITTED UNEDITED AND MADE IN ONE TAKE (NO CUTTING OR SOUND ENHANCEMENT).
IT IS A COMPETITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THEY SUBMIT A GOOD QUALITY VIDEO RECORDING.
In group classes all performers must be in one shot for recording purposes.
