Learn the insights of flamenco with one of the most authentic dancers on the scene: Christina Pages is coming directly from Granada to show you how it's done!
In the class you will learn Tangos de Granada,a regional flamenco style rich in Arabic influences and deeply rooted in the earthy, expressive spirit of southern Spain.
18:00 to 19:30 - Complete Beginners Class
NO SHOES NEEDED, NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! This class is the perfect introduction to flamenco. Christina will guide you through compás (rhythm), body percussion, and basic movement. You can do this class barefoot or in you regular shoes, (and feel free to bring flamenco shoes if you have them, but not necessary at all)
19:30 to 21:00 - Intermediate Class
For students from intermediate to advanced level, this session includes live music by Michael McMahon. Christina will teach tools for improvisation and choreographic sequences specific to Tangos de Granada, helping you deepen your musicality and expression.
You’re welcome to attend just one class or both!Even if you’re at an intermediate level, the beginners class will offer complementary material and fresh insights.
