About this Event
This workshop is specifically designed for rope bottoms/models and their riggers to enhance their strength, mobility, and awareness of the body in rope. Begin the workshop with a 1-hour yoga/pilates session, focusing on building strength and mobility in the shoulder girdle, arms, and core, essential areas for a comfortable and strong experience in rope.
Following the movement session, we’ll dive into a demonstration on active bottoming in a box tie, where we’ll explore how to manage common issues such as stiffness, hyper-mobility, and injury prevention. Learn how to work with your own body’s needs and create a safe, supportive experience while in rope.
The workshop is taught by experienced models with a combined 20+ years of experience in rope, bringing knowledge from ballet, yoga, pilates, and our own personal experiences in rope, from both struggles and triumphs. Together, we’ll help you feel more confident, grounded, and connected to your body while in rope.
