**🎣 Exciting Update for Our May 23-24 Flathead Catfish Event at Lake Pleasant! 🎣**We’re proud to share that **over 20 past and present military members and first responders** have signed up for our free overnight fishing event — and we have dedicated volunteers ready to support them!
**Important Location Update:** This event will now be held at **Pleasant Harbor on Lake Pleasant**. We will be gathering in the **dirt lot before the ramp**.
This event is dedicated to honoring and giving back to our heroes — providing a healing, camaraderie-filled weekend on the water where they can reconnect with the outdoors and each other.
**We still need your help** to make this event unforgettable for our military and first responder participants and volunteers! We’re gathering items including:
- **Patriotic fishing poles and gear** (red, white & blue rods, reels, combos — anything stars & stripes!)
- **First responder themed items** (thin blue line, thin red line gear, patches, hats, etc.)
- Fishing line (mono, fluoro, braid in various strengths)
- Tackle, lures, hooks, and terminal gear
- Snacks, drinks, camping supplies, sunscreen, bug spray, and outdoor essentials
- Gift cards or monetary donations to help cover costs
