About this Event
Hi there! I produce and host a stand-up comedy showcase at First Sip Cafe in Uptown that happens roughly every six weeks and has been going on for a little over two years now.
The vibe: Pay what you can, BYOB, with a different lineup each time featuring some of my favorite comics in Chicago and the occasional out-of-town guest.
Why I love this show: It happens at First Sip Cafe in Argyle, a historic Chicago neighborhood known for its amazing Vietnamese restaurants nearby if you want to grab dinner before the show (I recommend Cafe Hoang!)! First Sip itself is a super warm and cozy place with a vibe that feels both lowkey and intimate—which is exactly what I want the comedy show to feel like.
Obviously I'm biased, but I think this show is a great opportunity to have a shared joyful experience with other lovely human beings at a great third space. If this sounds appealing to you, please come through and say hi!
