Host of the podcast “The Sacred”, Elizabeth Oldfield is a compelling voice at the intersection of faith, culture, and public life. Elizabeth’s work explores how listening to people's sacred stories can serve as the "glue that perhaps can mend our broken common life.”Join us on Saturday, October 4th from 2-4pm in the Sanctuary (207 Maine Street, Brunswick) for a talk based on Elizabeth’s work and experience about cultivating the spiritual strengths we need to live in turbulent times, followed by a question and answer session. Copies of her book “Fully Alive: Tending to the Soul in Turbulent Times” will also be available for purchase and Elizabeth will be available to sign them. Elizabeth will also be offering the sermon during worship on Sunday, October 5th.
