Celebrate Women's History Month with a special tour spotlighting our Ladies’ Parlors and the spaces women enjoyed at the Mount Vernon Hotel in the 1820s and 1830s.

Join us to learn about the interior design and luxuries of the parlors and the activities available to ladies spending time here. These guests were wowed by amendities such as the Greek-inspired décor, the furnishings and other luxuries they could not afford in their own homes, and the many diversions they could pursue as they had a day's escape from their modest homes in lower Manhattan.

We're delighted to offer this specialty tours part of our First Friday of the Month series. Treat yourself to this special peek into a day of leisure, as experienced by women in early19th-century NYC.
