First Friday June 5, 2026 join us from 5 to 8 p.m. in Downtown Bloomington for Route 66 and 1960's themes at participating businesses. We are celebrating 100 years of Route 66 in Downtown Bloomington on June 5 and 6! The Cruisin’ Through the Century weekend is your chance to shift gears and step back in time, as each town hosts a themed celebration representing a different decade of road-trip culture. It’s a full-throttle, two-day journey through music, style, and nostalgia -- no GPS required.
Experience art, shopping, and dining on the First Friday of every month in Downtown Bloomington, IL.

🎶 7 - 10 p.m. Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters concert on the BCPA lawn. Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the gate. Attendees can enter for free with a receipt from a downtown business of at least $5 that same day. Food trucks and drinks are on site for purchase. Bring chairs.
