Welcome to our First Friday Concert series at St. John's! All concerts begin at 12:00pm, on the first Friday of each month, September through May, and are presented in the historic St. John’s sanctuary. Concerts are free and open to the public, followed by a luncheon with a suggested $10 donation. Free parking is available on site.Our December concert will feature the UTSA Guitar Ensemble. Enjoy Bach, vibrant Spanish and Latin American music, and cherished holiday favorites.
First Friday is a ministry that enriches our community’s spiritual life through sacred music rooted in the liturgical feasts and seasons of the church. It brings joy, hope, and fellowship to all, with a special outreach to the elderly and homebound, ensuring everyone feels the light of Christ and a sense of belonging.
