About this Event
You are invited to vend at a new location, First Friday at Cannon Beach which is a special open-air arts market that takes place every 1st Friday - from 6pm - 11pm.
Located at Cannon Beach, and the home of Revel Surf Park, this venue is quickly becoming the heart of Mesa, Arizona. This special event is hosted by First Friday Arizona, Arizona Stage, Mad Collab, Cannon Beach and is featuring local small businesses, food trucks, musicians, artists, art and boutique vendors.

Disclaimer and Criteria to keep with the integrity of the open air markets:
ABSOLUTELY NO RESELLING OF VENDOR SPACES.
Absolutely no Multi-Level Marketing or Services/Promotions are allowed unless they are pre approved. Artists, boutiques and resellers are accepted as long as you present your products in a tasteful and creative manner. We reserve the right to dismiss any vendors who we feel might be misrepresenting their involvement in the creation of their products.
This is a Family Friendly Event. No 18+ Adult Themed Products are allowed
We reserve the right to remove any vendors for any reason at any time.
Refunds: No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event. Credits are honored on a case by case basis.
Please note this is a rain or shine event.
Absolutely no Multi-Level Marketing or Services/Promotions are allowed.
Pay very close attention to the ticket you purchase. Spaces are assigned based on the color zone you have booked.
Do not claim a space until you are directed by the organizer.
Certain spaces are reserved for Cannon Beach businesses and volunteer vendors as permitted by the organizers.
EVENING MARKETS:
Please bring a power generating source to power your equipment. Electricity will NOT be offered or provided for any booth at any time booth. You will need to provide your own power supply and lights for your lighting as needed. Feel free to get as funky as you want with your lights as long as it does not affect your neighbors lighting set up. (If you need really bright lights, consider side walls for your canopy) ABSOLUTELY NO GAS GENERATORS TO POWER LIGHTS. THEY ARE ONLY FOR FOOD TRUCKS and FOOD STANDS.
Set-up time is from 3:00 pm to 5:45pm! All vehicles must be out of the market area by 5:30pm
Vendor Parking is offered
Please have a digital or copy of your specific ticket on hand for correct placement.
Vendors must be ready to sell by 6:00pm.
You may begin packing up no earlier than 10:45pm. We must be off the streets by midnight to allow for clean up.
ALL VENDORS MUST LOAD IN FROM THE DESIGNATED AREA AND TIMES FOR LOADING OR UNLOADING. Please do not block the right of way with your vehicle during set-up times. Unload your gear first and then Park in the Vendor Parking Area.
DO NOT SET UP YOUR BOOTH WHILE YOUR CAR IS IN THE LOADING ZONE. Similarly, we ask that you pack up your booth before bringing your car to load your gear. This greatly reduces the time needed for set-up and break down, ensuring a better day for everyone!
Space is limited. Please do not attempt to set up unless you have reserved a spot through this listing.
There are restrooms available in the surrounding public businesses restrooms and port o john locations.
This market is self-guided and run by fellow vendors who are more than happy to guide you to your space and answer any questions you might have.

Mobile Vendor Code of Conduct
Open-Air Market / First Friday Event
This Code of Conduct is designed to create a safe, professional, welcoming, and successful environment for all vendors, guests, staff, entertainers, and community members participating in the market.
1. Professionalism & Representation
All mobile vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Vendors must:
- Treat customers, fellow vendors, staff, volunteers, and the public with courtesy and respect.
- Operate honestly and ethically.
- Maintain a positive attitude, even during busy or stressful situations.
- Refrain from aggressive sales tactics, harassment, or disruptive behavior.
- Represent their business in a manner that reflects positively on the event.
2. Permits, Licensing & Compliance
Vendors are solely responsible for maintaining all required licenses, permits, insurance, and certifications necessary to operate.
This includes, where applicable:
- Business licenses
- License to sell in Mesa, AZ
- Food permits / health department approvals
- Sales tax licensing
- Fire safety compliance
- Vehicle registration
- Liability insurance
Failure to provide documentation upon request may result in removal from the event.
3. Arrival, Setup & Breakdown
To ensure smooth operations:
- Vendors must arrive during designated load-in times only.
- All setups must be completed before event opening.
- Vendors must remain operational during approved event hours unless granted permission by management.
- Early breakdown is prohibited.
- Vendors must fully clear their space during designated load-out times.
- Vendors are responsible for bringing all necessary equipment.
4. Space Respect & Boundaries
Vendors must operate only within their assigned space.
Vendors may not:
- Block walkways, emergency exits, or neighboring booths.
- Expand beyond approved dimensions without authorization.
- Use excessive signage, lighting, or sound that interferes with others.
- Place products, seating, or displays outside assigned boundaries.
5. Cleanliness & Waste Management
All vendors are responsible for keeping their area clean and attractive.
Vendors must:
- Remove trash throughout the event.
- Dispose of grease, wastewater, or hazardous materials properly.
- Leave the space in the same or better condition than it was found.
- Provide their own trash bags and cleaning supplies.
Failure to clean the area may affect future participation.
6. Safety Requirements
Safety is a top priority.
Vendors must:
- Keep fire lanes and exits clear.
- Secure tents, canopies, signage, and equipment properly.
- Maintain safe electrical practices.
- Use generators only if approved and in designated areas.
- Follow all fire code and emergency instructions.
- Immediately report accidents or hazards to event staff.
7. Noise & Music
To preserve the event atmosphere:
- Music volume must remain at a reasonable level.
- Explicit or offensive content is prohibited.
- Vendors may be asked to lower volume immediately.
- Amplified sound may require prior approval.
8. Product Standards
All goods and services sold must align with event values and applicable laws.
Prohibited items may include:
- Counterfeit goods
- Illegal substances
- Weapons
- Offensive or hateful materials
- Unsafe products
- Unauthorized branded merchandise
Event management reserves the right to require removal of inappropriate items.
9. Payment & Customer Service
Vendors are expected to provide clear pricing and excellent customer service.
Vendors should:
- Display pricing clearly.
- Honor advertised prices.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Provide receipts when possible.
- Maintain accurate transaction practices.
10. Community Environment
This market is intended to be inclusive and welcoming.
The following will not be tolerated:
- Discrimination
- Harassment
- Intimidation
- Violence
- Public intoxication
- Threatening language or actions
Any serious misconduct may result in immediate removal.
11. Social Media & Promotion
Vendors are encouraged to promote their participation and engage positively online.
Please:
- Tag the event when possible.
- Share responsibly and professionally.
- Avoid posting false, defamatory, or damaging content regarding the event or other vendors.
12. Enforcement
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following:
- Verbal warning
- Written warning
- Immediate corrective action
- Removal from the event
- Suspension from future events
- Loss of fees (if applicable)
Event management decisions are final.
13. Agreement
Participation in the market indicates agreement to abide by this Code of Conduct and any additional event policies or local regulations.
