**Rachael Sharpe’s Artist Bio**
Rachael is a self-taught mixed media artist based in Jacksonville, Florida who started drawing at the age of 13 to cope with my mother's death. After a long and dramatic pause in art, Rachael is now a full time artist who is very deep and passionate about her life’s work.

“Surrender to the Current”
This collection is about water and what it teaches us when we stop fighting it. Being underwater feels like surrendering to something vast and powerful—letting it hold you, move you, even reshape you. These pieces reflect the moments when surrender isn’t about giving up but about letting go, about surviving by becoming part of something bigger. Through each work, I’ve tried to capture that feeling of being submerged, of finding strength and peace in letting the current carry you. This is my exploration of resilience, transformation, and what it means to thrive when we allow ourselves to flow with the forces we can’t control.
