The Acosta Advanced Training Hub (AATH) presents First Call, a triple-bill performance featuring its +16 and +18 student groups.
The programme includes:
- Constellation, choreographed by Cameron McMillan, with music by Loscil and Nils Frahm — a contemporary work exploring human connection and the shifting patterns that intertwine our lives.
- In Line, a new classical creation by Artistic Lead Ludovic Ondiviela — this piece delves into the journey of pre-professional dancers preparing for auditions, blending technique with narrative.
- Excerpt from Nutcracker in Havana: Waltz of The Flowers and Grand Pas de Deux – Sugar Plum Fairy, scenes from Carlos Acosta’s 2024 adaptation of Nutcracker in Havana, staged by Aydmara Cabrera and Aymara Vasallo.
Together, these works showcase the versatility, artistry, and training nurtured at AATH — moving between contemporary invention, classical discipline, and the heritage of the Acosta Dance Foundation.
