Firepit Tales is a spoken word poetry event that's all about connecting people through the power of words.
About this Event

Firepit Tales is our monthly night of spoken word and poetry, held on the last Wednesday of every month — a space where stories, rhythm and voice come together around our real, glowing firepit. It’s all about connection: people, words and shared experience. Whether you’re already deep into spoken word or simply curious to try something new, Firepit Tales offers an evening that feels raw, welcoming and a little bit magical.

Tickets / Entry
This event is completely free to attend.

Hosted by the brilliant , the evening features an open mic — so if you’ve got something to share, we’d love to hear your voice. Sign up on the night and step into the circle when you’re ready.

Our bar will be open throughout the evening. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so please remember to bring ID.

Firepit itself is a unique place — part contemporary art gallery, part creative studio hub and part storytelling haven. The performances take place in our slightly sunken room: wood-clad walls, warm lighting, red carpet, comfortable seating and the firepit at the heart of it all. The MC holds the centre, surrounded by the audience, with every voice carried through a beautiful Bang & Olufsen sound system that fills the entire space.

Doors & open-mic sign-up: 6:30pm
Show starts: 7:00pm
