The Annual Firecracker 6 is set for July 4, 2027 starting at 8AM. Join us in celebrating 250 years of independence! Start the tradition, or continue yours joining us at Indiana's Largest 4th of July road race located in our beautiful capital city. Downtown Indy has played host to this event annually. Firecracker 6 offers a 6k, giving participants of all abilities a challenge to kick off their 4th of July. Firecracker 6 is starting and finishing at the beautiful American Legion running/walking on surrounding streets, & paved trails. This area is a favorite for local runners/walkers, and showcases countless beautiful views along the river including some of our absolute favorite viewpoints of the city skyline.
