The Annual Firecracker 6 is set for July 4, 2026 starting at 8AM. Join in the celebration of the 250th Independence Day! Start the tradition, or continue yours joining us at Indiana's Largest 4th of July road race located in our beautiful capital city. Downtown Indy has played host to this event annually. Firecracker 6 offers fast and flat 6k run or walk, giving participants of all abilities a challenge to kick off their 4th of July. Firecracker 6 is starting and finishing at the beautiful American Legion and running/walking on surrounding streets, & paved trails. This area is a favorite for local runners/walkers, and showcases countless beautiful views along the river including some of our absolute favorite viewpoints of the city skyline.
