Course Description: The IFSTA Fire Officer II course is a 40-hour course that prepares people to work as managers or supervisors in a fire service organization. The course is based on the NFPA 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, and covers topics such as:

Human resources management
Administrative responsibilities
Community and government relations
Fire safety inspections
Fire cause and origin investigations
Emergency services delivery
Health and safety

Required Manual: IFSTA Fire and Emergency Services Company Officer, 6th Edition
