Together we will celebrate the auspicious dawn of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse — a rare and powerful time of renewal and awakening. The Fire Horse embodies the spirit of “double fire,” a dynamic dance of energy and vitality. The Horse, a symbol of freedom, strength, and passionate forward motion, merges with the element of Fire — the essence of Heart healing, Joy, and radiant connection. Together, they illuminate a path toward inspiration, courage, and heartfelt transformation.
We wlll begin our evening with a short intention setting, followed by a Qigong practice to ground us, gently transitioning into a dance of Joy, Connection and Expression, and ending in a short but sweet healing meditation for the Heart. No experience needed, come as you are.
Bring: Yourself in comfy layers for moving in, an open heart, a water bottle, and if you like, your own mat/blanket/cushion to rest on before, during or after the dance. There will be a limited supply of these items available at the studio.
Immediately following the event there will be an optional community dinner at Shanghai Bistro in Eau Claire. We will need reservations for a large group, so please text Sandra Mighell at 303-718-3252 no later than Thursday, March 5, 2026 to secure your spot and indicate any dietary restrictions/requests,i.e., vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. Sandra is going to attempt to make this a "family style" meal (dishes to pass). We will all contribute to the cost of the meal. Drinks will be on your own tab.
