About this Event
Join Caitlin at Glow Yoga and Wellness for an immersive exploration of the elements over the next 5 months (fire, air, water, space/ether). Each sound bath experience will weave together each element with intention setting, ritual, brief movements and breathwork, followed by an Audio Alchemy element curated sound bath with a backing track produced by Darko, with Caitlin facilitating the live sound to match.
First up we have the element of Fire, and perfect timing falling right around the holiday of Beltane, which translates to "bright fire," and in celtic tradition features bonfires and burning, which signify transition, cleansing, and the growing power of the sun at this midway point between spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. In Indian culture fire is also referred to as Agni, which is associated with three forms: fire, lightning, and sun. We will be calling in the sounds and energies of the fire element throughout the whole experience. Please bring a pen and journal for any notes and anything you would like to place on the altar, or to make your sound experience more comfortable, such as eye masks, pillows, extra cozies and plush (we have blankets and bolsters to use as well).
About The Teacher: Caitlin Ryan, RYT 500, SoundBath Facilitator.
Caitlin began practicing yoga while studying theatre at the College of Charleston and found a deeper practice upon moving to San Francisco in 2006. Growing up a swimmer and athlete, she fell in love with the physical side and depth that yoga brings.
Caitlin has a lifelong love affair with music and sound and was certified as a sound healing therapist with Sound Embrace Institute in 2021. She facilitates sound baths to dive deep into deep meditation and relaxation that helps put the body and mind into its natural healing state. You can find her yoga and sound baths throughout the Bay Area at various studios, private events, and corporates. When not teaching, she can be found chasing adventure, good music, and ocean adventures, and marine conservation work. Her fitness beliefs are to do what feels good in your body and find something that nurtures and challenges you but will still leave you smiling.

Arrivals: Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the event to set up. We will start with 15 minutes of tea and meet at greet, and will lock the doors once the experience begins. No refunds for missed reservations.
