Wie verrückt ist das Leben doch manchmal, und wie kann ich das überhaupt ausdrücken? Das Stück Mysteriöser und zugleich der Übergang zu L’Ange qui reste ist zum Beispiel so ein Versuch. Falls wir immer noch an einer Erklärung scheitern, dann schließen wir die Augen und fangen an S. O. M. (Schatten ohne Mann) und danach L‘Ange qui passe wie einen Film an uns vorbeiziehen zu lassen, bis wir am Ende die Augen öffnen und bemerken, dass das ganze Konzert wie ein Film an uns vorbeigezogen ist und die Antwort unserer Anfangsfrage das Leben selber ist.
“Atemberaubende Lebendigkeit, Komplexität, die nicht in Frickelei ausartet, Interessante Melodien, fetzige Rhythmen und viel Herzblut - was will Musik mehr! Einige Passagen haben mich an „Number Nine“ erinnert, war das beabsichtigt? Und, last but not least, die gelungenen Ansagen!”

How strange life can be sometimes — and how can I even express that? The piece Mysteriöser and the transition to L’Ange qui reste are, for example, one such attempt. And if we still fail to find an explanation, then we simply close our eyes and let S.O.M. (Shadow without Man) and later L’Ange qui passe pass by like a film — until we open our eyes at the end and realize that the entire concert has flowed past us like a movie, and that the answer to our initial question is life itself.
“Breathtaking vitality, complexity that doesn't tip into over-engineering, interesting melodies, punchy rhythms, and lots of heart — what more could music want! Some passages reminded me of ‘Number Nine.’ Was that intentional? And last but not least, the brilliant announcements!”
