About this Event
This special event marks the public unveiling of a major new exhibition co‑created with people with lived experience, artists, students, and practitioners from across the UK. Through animation, comic, illustration, painting and storytelling the exhibition shines a light on the emotional realities of admission, challenges stigma, and opens up conversations about how we can improve care.
Guests will have the opportunity to:
• Explore the exhibition for the first time
• Hear from members of the FIND ME team
• Learn about the research behind the work
• Connect with practitioners, carers, and community partners
• Celebrate the creativity and voices at the heart of the project
The FIND ME Exhibition is part of a wider national programme transforming public understanding of dementia and mental health care. We’re excited to share this work with you and to build momentum for the exhibition’s planned UK tour.
All are welcome... researchers, NHS staff, practitioners, carers, students, community members, and anyone interested in dementia, mental health, or creative research.
Light refreshments will be provided.
