This comprehensive workshop addresses the financial aspects of starting and growing a business in Canada. Starting with essential financial management skills: setting up business banking, understanding Canadian tax obligations, budgeting, and proper bookkeeping practices.
We'll then explore funding options specifically available for newcomer entrepreneurs, including government grants, microloans, community funding programs, and immigrant-focused business support organizations.
Presentation with slides followed by Q & A.
Participants will leave with practical financial tools and knowledge of how to access capital to grow their businesses.

About the Presenter
Hafsa Taher is a seasoned entrepreneur, business coach and founder of two successful Canadian businesses, including Hafsa Creates Gifts, which sold handmade products globally. As an active instructor for Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub at Toronto Metropolitan University and Head Coach for Hafsa Taher Coaching, she has guided over 200 entrepreneurs to transform their business ideas into reality, and grew her social media presence to 56,000 organic engaged followers.
