Speed networking session between composers and artistic directors of choirs to facilitate the creation of new Canadian works for choir

On Saturday, October 25th, join Choirs Ontario and Canadian Music Center Ontario for a networking event for choral professionals. “Choral Connections” seeks to connect choral conductors and composers as they begin to plan their upcoming choral season(s). The evening will feature a discussion with renowned conductor and champion of Canadian Music, Lydia Adams in conversation with star composer, Matthew Emery on the comissioning process from idea to performance. During breakout sessions, conductors will mingle to discuss potential collaborations for repertoire selection, possible commissions, and professional joint-ventures. Food and drink will be served.
