"Sibiriada" - four films about Siberia, about its people, and about the turbulent 20th century. Each film, through the newsreels to the novels, tells about certain historical periods of time and correlates them with the fates of the heroes acting in the films. At the beginning of the 20th century, a case brought an escaped political prisoner Rodion Klimentov to the Siberian village of Elan. A short meeting with him, his stories about the dream of the utopian Tomaso Campanella - the City of the Sun, sunk into the soul of a little boy - poor Kolka Ustyuzhanin. After the revolution, Nikolai Ustyuzhanin steps into conflict with wealthy neighbors Solomin. He has to leave the village, his fiancee Nastya flees with him from the Solomin family. In the 1930s, the communist Nikolai Ustyuzhanin returned to his native village to explore the natural resources of Siberia. But the old is still alive and dies at the hands of Spiridon Solomin Nikolai, the witness of the M**der, the son of Nikolai and Nastya, Alyoshka escapes from Elan. He will dream of avenging his father, but he will go to the front and return only 20 years later as a foreman of the oil workers.
