In October I had the pleasure of having Hilary Klotz Steinman on my podcast, along with Madi and Mandy Smith, Julie Germann and Justin Boardman...discussing the experience documented in the film "Loud Enough --Surviving Justice." This is the powerful film about college student Madison Smith surviving a life-threatening sexual assault and being dismissed by the legal system. She and her tight-knit Kansas family take on the local prosecutor to fight for justice and systemic change
I was so moved by the conversations with these guests and the power of the film, that I have partnered with Women in Philanthropy of the Scranton Area Community Foundation to host a screening of the documentary "Loud Enough --Surviving Justice." After the screening of the film, I will moderate a conversation with Steinman, the film's director, and Sabrina Hannon, WRC's medical advocacy program coordinator.
This event is free but for seating purposes, please register here:
