Upcoming Meeting: Mini Mock Flower ShowWe are excited to invite you to participate in our mini mock Flower Show featuring three classes:
Floral Design Challenge
• Create an arrangement suitable for the entrance of a home or public space.
• Points will be awarded for rhythm and line in the composition.
• Designs will be staged in a niche measuring 29”tall by 23”wide by 24”deep.
•Design must be contained within the confines of the niche.
Plants Categories
• A green or variegated house plant,(4 entries)
-A flowering plant, (4 entries)
-potted in a container 8 inches or less in diameter
• There is no size restriction on the plant itself—only the pot size.
• The plant must be one you have grown for at least 90 days.
• Entries may be installed on April 15th between 10:30 AM and 11:55AM, and taken down April 17 after 12pm.
Judging & Awards
• Judging will begin promptly at 12:00 PM on April 15th, conducted by Federated Garden Club show judges.
• Awards will be presented for first, second, third place, and honorable mention in each category.
• After a pleasant lunch, judges will critique the flower arrangements and plant exhibits, sharing detailed insights into how they arrived at their decisions.
