Watch Jean Cocteau’s "La Belle et la Bête" (1946) under the stars at this special outdoor screening of the surrealist film classic. Merging dreamlike imagery with theatrical invention, the film imagines the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale as a poetic exploration of love, illusion, and transformation. This program takes place on the main building lawn, located at 1533 Sul Ross Street. As always, Menil programs are free and open to all.
