Welcome to the first edition of FIENDS IN THEFURROWS - a new folk horror film festival in
Leith, Scotland, featuring a mix of pop-up outdoor
and indoor screenings & events across Leith, from 23-
26 April.
Programme includes THE WICKER MAN, ENYS MEN, ROSE OF NEVADA, THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WITCH, and plenty more to be announced!
A collaboration between film events & exhibition
organisation CINETOPIA and Leith-based film
collective LEITH KINO, our aim is to bring you a
rich, thrilling, and diverse programme of Scottish &
International films of all kinds, reflecting themes of
land, folklore, ritual, history, and the tensions between
rural and urban ways of life.
Beyond our film programme, FIENDS IN THE
FURROWS will also feature workshops, talks, and
events celebrating Leith’s vibrant local artistic and
creative community, through workshops, talks, and
events - plus scrumptious food & drink from local
Leith vendors.
