About this Event
Join our MAGNT Education team for a field trip out to the local surrounds of the Museum. We will practice identifying shorebirds and we will also conduct some land-based surveys, before returning to MAGNT and completing some hands-on activities in the Discovery Centre.

Adult supervision essential and a limit of one accompanying adult per booking applies.

Key Information
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please register at the Information Desk in the Foyer upon arrival.
Suitable footwear required and please bring your own sunscreen, hat and water.
Participants will be walking on natural terrain including soft sand and wet rocks.
This program is taking place in a natural environment which has inherent risks.

MAGNT Conditions of Entry
Food and beverage is not permitted inside MAGNT gallery spaces or inside the Discovery Centre. All snacks and drink bottles must be stowed in a locker behind the Information Desk.
Bottled water is permitted on the understanding the bottle is carried in a bag at all times and no water is consumed inside MAGNT gallery spaces.
Backpacks and large bags, greater than 30 cm on any one side (width, depth and/or length) must be stowed in a locker.
Nappy bags greater than 30 cm on any one side and/or containing liquids and food must also be stowed in a locker.
All organic material in your possession, including flowers and/or feathers collected on MAGNT grounds must be disposed of or left at the Information Desk before entering the galleries or the Discovery Centre.
