Did you know the Oakland Family History center will be closed this summer for renovations May 31-August 31st

Come visit the Center for a brief tour and to learn about new features on the FamilySearch.org website and more! If you have not been to the FamilySearch Center in a while, you will be amazed at the increased number of resources available.

Did you know:

There are over 50 computers for patron use.

Patrons have free use of many subscription databases including AncestryInstitution, FindMyPast, AmericanAncestors, MyHeritage, GenealogyBank, Fold3, Newspapers.com, Newspaperarchives and more.

Files restricted from home are available at the center.

See the comprehensive Scanning Center for photos, documents, slides, scrapbooks, VCR tapes, CDs, audio tapes. You can spend the summer organizing your material to scan/digitize when the center opens again in September.
